Stop Websites asking for Location and Remain Anonymous on the Web

Nowadays almost every one is using and surfing on internet to search new things through websites, for which they are using web browsers such as: Google Chrome, Fire Fox and Safari.

As you are busy on the web, some websites on the internet asking your location or accurate position so that they provide you the exact products or better search results based on your location. Most of the websites ask your location only once you visit but most of them keep asking your location every time you login which is the most annoying thing.

Now the question is, you want to reveal your location on the internet or not? Some peoples like me want to hide their location while surging online, that is why im going to share how you can hide your location on the internet.

How to Stop Websites from asking your Location?1. Google Chrome:

  1. Go to settings from the three dots on top right corner of your chrome below the close button and select settings, then click on advanced settings and in privacy and security tab choose “Do not allow any site to track your physical location” option. You are Done.

2. Mozilla Firefox:

Type “about:config” in the address bar of fire fox and press Enter, then you will see many options on your main screen.

In the search box, type “geo.” as shown in the Figure below.

Double click on the “geo.enabled” and you will see the changing of value from “true” to “False” that will stop asking your location.

3. Internet Explorer:

Click on the “Tools” from menu bar and select “Privacy Tab” and check mark on the “Never Allow websites to request your physical location” option. Click Ok and you are Done.
